Sisqo’s hit song “Thong Song” was EVERYWHERE in ‘99/00, but the singer has filed a lawsuit claiming he hasn’t received his fair share of royalties from the mega hit.
TMZ is reporting that the former Dru Hill singer is suing 27 Red Music, the company he hired to collect royalties on “Thong Song” and various other songs in his catalog spanning from 1996 to 2005. The singer claims he’s owed $600,000, and asking for $3 million in punitive damages.
The lawsuit comes after his latest album Last Dragon releaed earlier this year.
