Following her single “Black Bodies,” indie singer Natasha Alexander releases the clip called "Shades,” a song created from one of Alexander's pieces of free write poetry. “’Shades’ is part rant, part rebel yell, and more than anything, entirely heart," says the singer.
Alexander and filmmaker/director Aisha Jabour approached the "Shades" video with very clear vision. "This song is an unintentional anthem about human vitality, the continuance of life present in all living things," said Alexander. Jabour calls the video, "a visionary video that's part hip hop Nosferatu, part cinema vérité."
