Rising R&B artist Tinashe will experience a tremendous growth in her international fan base come this fall. The singer-songwriter will join pop superstar Katy Perry on the South American leg of her Prismatic World Tour. The 7-country trek will kick off on September 29 in Curitiba, Brazil, and will wrap on October 18 in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Currently, Tinashe is opening for rap star Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint Tour, which will be wrapping up soon. Earlier this year, she completed a sold-out, four continent headlining world tour, which brought her much praised, high-energy show through North America, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Tinashe is supporting her debut album, Aquarius, which came out last October (2014). She recently spoke about current and upcoming projects with Kode Magazine.
"I'm currently focused on touring, but I have been busy working on music in my available time," Tinashe confirms. She's already logged studio time with Hit-boy, boi1da, Max Martin, and Nic Nac.
