Keyshia Cole Teases New Song, “Best Friend”

Keyshia Cole's new journey as an independent artist is upon us. The R&B veteran parted ways with her longtime record label, Interscope, following her latest album, Point of No Return, and she promised to be more involved in her craft.

"I'm excited about this journey, and who I’m becoming, and getting more involved in my work," Cole told TGJ.

Cole recently shared a teaser song from her new movement called, "Best Friend." The ballad sounds like classic Keyshia with all the passion and emotion on tap.

Cole plans to release new music in the coming weeks, and she admits that she wants to get back to the early part of her career, where her music had a certain swagger. "I wanna be caught up in myself again, I wanna be focus, I wanna be that girl," she says.
