Soul artist Lindsey Webster premieres the music video for her melancholy single, "Bleed." In the classic-colored clip, the singer-songwriter delivers the dreary lyrics into a microphone while backed by piano.
"When we were coming up with the idea for the music video for "Bleed," we thought that the vibe should match the simplicity of the song. We conferred with Justin and Kevin from Upstate Moving Images and came up with the idea to go into the studio where we recorded "Bleed" to emulate a "live performance" feel," Webster tells Singersroom. "It's cool because in the video Keith "played" the piano that we used when we recorded the song a year and a half ago, and I sat behind the same vintage Neumann U67 that I recorded with, as well."
"Bleed" appears on Webster's new album, You Change, available now. The album is an eloquent collection of work showcasing her expressive vocals and uncanny talent.
