Legendary Motown singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson, 75, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2015 BET Awards. As the writer behind a slew of Motown's biggest hits, Tori Kelly, Robin Thicke, and Ne-Yo saluted the legend by singing a few of his classics.
Tori absolutely killed “Who’s Lovin’ You,” the bluesy song performed by The Jackson 5. If you haven't heard about Tori, you have now! She always brings the vocals! Robin Thicke then sang “Ooh Baby, Baby,” the slow doo-wop about mistakes and regret (so very appropriate for Robin!), but he smoothly hit all the right notes. Then Ne-Yo capped off the tribute by singing “Tears Of A Clown” as the audience bounced to the beat.
Robinson then accepted his award for over six decades of musical excellence.
