Yesterday, we reported that music icon Janet Jackson will be honored at the upcoming 2015 BET Awards. Now, according to new details, Mrs. Jackson will receive the first-ever "Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award" during the 15th annual show at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m.

Prior to accepting her prestigious award, the 49-year-old music veteran will receive an all-star tribute from top entertainers like Jason Derulo, Ciara, and Tinashe.
The BET Awards will be Jackson's first major television appearance in three years.
Jackson recently announced the "Unbreakable" world tour and her comeback album, led by the brand new single, "No Sleeep." The project will arrive this fall via Rhythm Nation Records/BMG.
