R&B singer JS (b. Junious Sampson) recently offered his vocals to The Artizonals’ single, “I Want You,” but the L.A.-based singer/songwriter has been working on his own stuff. Along with readying his EP, Pillow Talk, the sweet-voiced singer penned a song called “I Can’t Breathe," inspired by the multiple police brutality cases currently being brought to light.
The video is in tribute to the victims and their families as JS and his hometown of Bridgeton, NJ and the city’s charity KYMO (Keeping Young Minds Occupied) shed light on the topic. KYMO engages “at risk” by reaching them through music.
JS' “Pillow Talk” is due out soon.
