The upcoming 5th season of Lexus and TV One's variety show "Lexus Verses and Flow" will be live to say the least. The eight-episode season will feature electrifying stars such as Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, Charlie Wilson, Raekwon The Chef, Jussie Smollett, Sevyn Streeter, Avery Sunshine, Leela James, Estelle, Chrisette Michelle, and Assassin alongside more than 24 of the best up-and-coming poets.
"TV One is excited to partner with Lexus for season five of the innovative series that captures the spirit of performance art with a purpose," said Brad Siegel, President, TV One. "Verses and Flow is a project that not only captivates and entertains, but support the efforts of Historically Black Colleges and Universities to motivate and reward deserving college-bound students."
Hosted for a second straight year by actor Laz Alonso, the series will premiere July 30 and will continue to air on Thursday nights.
A new 'Lexus Verses and Flow' app is now available, and special series content will also be available online at www.tvone.tv and www.versesandflow.com.
