He says about the record, the Toronto-bred artist "Like most of my records, I had the concept for 'Possession' long before laying any music down. I thought it'd be dope to make a song that took the idea of stealing somebody's girl, and added a bit of a dilemma. Truthfully, the record is one big "are you sure?" presented to the spoken for female. The production of the record came easily. I knew I wanted something sexy, but dark, something that supported the tone and emotion of the lyrics."
David has put in work for others such as being a producer on Yo Gotti’s “I Am” and Wiz Khalifa's Grammy nominated album "Blacc Hollywood.” He’s released multiple mixtapes; the last is 2012’s "PSALMS."
