The upcoming season of American Idol may be the last, but show judge Jennifer Lopez has big plans after. The music veteran has confirmed an upcoming residency in Las Vegas at Axis at Planet Hollywood.
"I've been preparing for this moment my entire life," said J.Lo on American Idol. "The show is going to be a multifaceted, high-energy Jenny from the Block party mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love — dance, hip hop, Latin and pop. It's going to be the show I've always dreamed of creating."
"So excited!!! This is going to be the show I've always dreamed of creating. Tickets on sale Sat, May 16. #JLoVegas," she wrote on Twitter.
J.Lo's concerts will play when Britney Spears is away on breaks from her hit residency, Britney: Piece of Me, and she says her's is a "must-see."
"It will be a must-see show that will further elevate Las Vegas as an entertainment destination," she added.
J.Lo now joins the all-female line-up on the Strip, which includes Britney, Celine Dion, Olivia Newton-John, Mariah Carey, who began May 6, and Reba McEntire, starting June 17.
