Jennifer Lopez continues to roll out new projects. Fresh off her well-received films, the DreamWorks Animation 'Home' and 'The Boy Next Door', the singer, actress, and entrepreneur will be joining forces with Universal Pictures again, this time for a romantic comedy picture.
According to Deadline, J.Lo and Universal are developing the film, 'Mothers I'd Like To…', in which she will play the lead character. Not much is known about the film's plot, which is said to be 'Bridesmaids' meets 'First Wives Club.'
Lopez will produce through her Nuyorican Productions, along with her producing partner Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina.
In related news, Lopez will be honored at the upcoming Radio Disney Music Awards, hosted by Kelly Osbourne and Zendaya. She was selected as the 2015 recipient of the Hero Award, which recognizes charity work.
Lopez has been a long-time supporter of philanthropic organizations including the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club, the American Red Cross and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
The 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards will air on the Disney Channel on April 26 at 8pm ET.
