Acting
Tyrese appeared in 11 music videos and guest starred in two televisions sitcoms from the 90's: Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and Martin. But, he took a shot at acting when he starred in his first movie, Love Song, with Southern Hummingbird Monica, in 2000. But, he rose to fame as an actor when he starred in the John Singleton movie, Baby Boy, with Taraji P. Henson and Snoop Dogg in 2001. In the film, he played a misguided 20-year-old man who eventually came to turns with the realities of the world and manhood in an impoverished neighborhood in Los Angeles. Now, Tyrese has starred in 17 films within the past 15 years including, Fast & Furious and Transformers franchises, Annapolis, Four Brothers, Black Nativity and many more.
