Kelly Rowland has now joined the mom club with bestie and former Destiny's Child group member Beyonce.
In an appearance on the Meredith Vieira Showyesterday (March 24), Rowland dished that she and Bey still hang out, but now their meet-ups involve their little ones.
“Just the other day we were all able to sit down and have lunch together, and that always feels good,” Rowland told Vieira. “Titan’s screaming and Blue is probably climbing something,” she explained.
However, not all their girl time involves the kids. Sometimes they like to link up for a childfree, turned-up night on the town. “I don’t want to describe those. But it’s a lot of fun. It’s way too much fun!” she said.
Their friendship is still going strong after over 20 years. Rowland explained both Bey and Michelle Williams were there for her, especially when she lost her mother Doris last December. “I’m so happy that I have the girls as just a great support system,” she said. Them being there for her is important for Rowland; the devastating loss of her mother mixed with the arrival of baby Titan in November left her with a number of emotions. “I don’t think I’ve actually had the time to really, really grieve,” she said.
