While Beyoncé’s BeyHive continues to attack anyone that hashtag other celebrities with #QueenB, her sister has been making friends with the original Queen B, Lil Kim.
During an honorable exchange on Twitter, Solange paid homage to Lil Kim’s fashion style by sharing the above photo with the caption: “Hold on Kimberly I'm coming! Let me grab my pocketbook!”

Taking notice of the love, Lil Kim retweeted the message adding, “Yess Blue!!! Gorgeous,” to which Solange adds, “You da best mama!!!”
Solange confirmed that she went for a look based on Kim’s “Crush on You” hit.
She adds: “@LilKim and thank youuuuu… (Seriously told the stylist/photographer I want to look like I belong in “Crush on you”) You inspire so much!”
Earlier this week, the BeyHive swarmed actress Raven-Simone for calling Lil Kim a #QueenBee, so we’re wondering if this was also Bey’s subtle way of giving the veteran rapper her props, but through a messenger.
Nonetheless, this was very sweet of Solange, because Lil Kim is well deserving of her contributions to music and fashion.
