Last we heard form Bay Area artist Cameron “Cash Campain” Parker was on his 2013 joint EP 2AM with fellow northern Cali singer Haji Young. Now he’s prepping his next project Laface Era headed by this cover of Van Morrison’s 1970 song “Crazy Love.”
Here, pianist Des Lott provides the musical accompaniment while Cash belts out the ballad. There’s a tender, sweet quality to his voice that’s endearing. Cam tells us he has a lot more “real” R&B from this album he can’t wait to share. Well, we can’t wait to hear!
