Cheers for Jazmine Sullivan!
The Grammy nominated singer-songwriter lands her highest-ranking album to date after her third studio album, Reality Show, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart, selling 29,000 copies in its first week of release.
The LP also bows at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart, her highest position since her 2008 debut, Fearless, which reached the No. 6 slot.
“I Think It’s creative,” Sullivan told Singersroom about Reality Show. “That’s all I’m really trying to bring to this industry. I’m just trying to show different aspects of what I can do. I’m influenced by so much stuff, I felt like it’s important for me to kind of bring it all into an album and let people kind of see it.”
In 2011, Jazmine Sullivan shocked many of her peers and fans alike after announcing a semi-retirement from music. We’re glad to see her back and doing well.
