2014 has been an amazing year for R&B crooner Aloe Blacc!
The “Wake Me Up” hitmaker provided the audio backdrop for Beats by Dre, signed a brand partnership deal with luxury automotive company Lincoln Motor, released a successful album, landed the most streamed song on Spotify, and much more.
Recently, he accomplished another feat by performing at Berklee College of Music with a student rhythm section and orchestra. Arranged, conducted, and improvised on by Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, and produced by Revive Music founder Meghan Stabile ’06, the soulful singer-songwriter delivered a musical masterpiece cover of Marvin Gaye’s classic hit “What’s Going On.”
This just feels great… music!
