Jasmine V became famous not only for her music, but for also dating Justin Bieber when she was 16 years old. Just recently turned 21, the Bay Area singer-songwriter is prepping her major label debut, led by the Kendrick Lamar assisted single "That’s Me Right There," and she has been hitting the promotional circuit hard as the project nears.
She recently sat down with Complex, opening up on a plethora of topics including her dating life.
"I want them to fear God," the newly single beauty says about what she looks for in a guy.
She further explains, "I want a guy to believe in God and be a man of his word. I want him to have his own life. I’ve dated people who didn’t have that life outside of me, and that can crumble things. I don’t wanna be somebody’s everything. When you leave, they have nothing. And you have that burden of taking away everything, even if you’re unhappy in a relationship."
Looks like Jasmine is definitely looking for a new Bae; when asked if there's anything she can't have but want, her reply: "I’ve yet to find a guy who has his own stuff going on, who doesn’t need a girl because he’s got himself."
Basically, Jasmine says she doesn't want any "scrubs."
We're guessing her short time with Justin Bieber spoiled her a bit! At the same time, we want what we want!
