Mariah Carey is heading to New York for "Christmas in Rockefeller Center".
According to NBC Universal, the legendary diva has been added to the line up for the annual event, which will air live Wednesday, December 3.
"Mariah Carey, Prince Royce, Darius Rucker and the Rockettes will join the star-studded holiday special, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” airing live from Rockefeller Center® in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 3 (8-9 p.m. ET). Carey will open the holiday program with a very special performance of her #1 smash hit “All I Want For Christmas is You," NBC Universal reports. "The show will be hosted by “Today” anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales, and will also feature previously announced performances from Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett, Cyndi Lauper featuring Billy Porter, Seth MacFarlane featuring Sara Bareilles, Idina Menzel, Pentatonix, LeAnn Rimes, and Trisha Yearwood."
The 82nd annual holiday extravaganza will feature an 85-foot tall Norway Spruce from Hemlock Township, Penn. It is approximately 90 years old and weighs approximately 13 tons.
Prior to this year's primetime telecast, an additional live hour of the special (7-8 p.m. ET) will be broadcast by select NBC stations. Check local listings.
