Kandi owes no one an explanation when it comes to buying her mother, Mama Joyce, a new house. That holds even if it has seven bedrooms, a pool, a basketball court and is within walking distance of the home she shares with her husband, Todd Tucker.
Appearing on "Watch What Happens Live" Sunday, Kandi defended her decision to get her mother what she wanted, a ranch style house, and said it's better that she be closer because of Mama Joyce's age.
"I don’t have to really explain to anybody that I want to treat my mother well. You know? She’s my mother… When she does her crazy stuff it doesn’t really affect me because I don’t allow it to affect my decision making when it comes to my relationship and stuff like that," Kandi told Andy Cohen.
Kandi also added that she doesn't feel like her mother has slurred speech on the show or that she has a drinking problem.
Moving on from Mama Joyce, Kandi confirmed that she and Todd are not expecting just yet, but they are trying. As seen on last night's episode, both of their plates are full, with Todd working on "Hollywood Divas" (TV One) and Kandi working on her various ventures, including Kandi Koated Nights. Still she insists that she doesn't want to be forty and pregnant, so the baby has to come sooner rather than later.
