Def Jam will celebrate thirty years with a massive concert event tonight.
Taking the stage to help with the celebration are R&B recording artists Jhene Aiko, Jeremih and Ashanti.
Slated to take place at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, the 30 year anniversary concert will also feature appearances and performances from Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, DMX, Fabolous, Foxy Brown, Onyx, Method Man, Redman, Ja Rule, Warren G, and EPMD.
"As the birthplace of hip-hop, there is no better place to celebrate such a cultural touchstone than in New York City itself," Def Jam CEO Steve Bartels shared in a statement.
"The event, which will encompass all 30 years of Def Jam’s influence on hip-hop music and culture, will take audiences through the label’s history, from humble beginnings to what is to come in the future.
