Jennifer Hudson drops her long-awaited third studio album, JHUD, the follow up to 2011’s I Remember Me. The Oscar and Grammy winner says this body of work hones in on her the person and who she really is.
The album consists of 10-tracks featuring appearances from artists T.I., R. Kelly, and Iggy Azalea, as well as Timbaland on the production tip (“Walk It Out”).
“I wanted everyone to get a sense of who Jennifer Hudson is as a person, and on this album… it reflects that,” JHud told the USA Today. “My personality, me as a music lover, me as a musician… that’s why I named it JHUD.”

Luke James should be celebrating! After several mixtapes and EPs, the Grammy nominated singer finally unleashes his self-titled debut album. The 12-tracks standard version (three additional for the deluxe) is led by the singles "Options," featuring label-mate Rick Ross, "Dancing In The Dark," and the latest offering “Exit Wounds.”
“This new album, which is my official album, hopefully you can hear growth and a whole lot of feeling,” Luke told VH1. “… it’s definitely the prelude to my story. I just want you to get a good idea of who I am, and just know that there’s no boundaries on where I’m willing to go.
