Rihanna is not a happy camper after being penalized by CBS.
Last week, the network pulled her song from “Thursday Night Football” amidst all the controversies surrounding domestic violence and Ray Rice.
Rihanna’s 2009 hit single, “Run This Town,” which features Jay Z and Kanye West, was supposed to run during the opening segment of the pre-game show, but with fear of backlash, especially since Rihanna is a former victim of domestic violence, CBS decided not to play the song.
On Tuesday (Sept 15), the network announced that it would use the song for this week’s “Thursday Night Football,” but Rihanna felt some way about being pulled in the first place and she took to Twitter to voice her feelings, including denying the use of her song.
“CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, F**k you! Y’all are sad for penalizing me for this,” writes Rihanna. She followed up with, “The audacity…”
CBS will reportedly now pull the song completely from the show.
