Ariana Grande's star continues to rise…
After releasing her No. 1-debuting sophomore album, My Everything, in August, the 21-year-old singing sensation will perform for the 2014 season opener of "Saturday Night Live" on September 27. Actor Chris Pratt (Guardians of The Galaxy) will host. A tweet from the official SNL twitter account announced the news today (Sept 10).

As an comedic actress on the now-cancelled Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat, Grande would do a great job in some of SNL's skits, but no word on whether she'll lend her acting talents.
