Ariana Grande has much respect for Nicki Minaj following Sunday's unfortunate wardrobe malfunction at the MTV Video Music Awards.
"She's a pro. Nicki's a pro. She's incredible for just getting on stage and rapping with that whole wardrobe thing happening," Grande told Power 106 Los Angeles. "That was fierce. That was amazing."
As seen on the VMAs, Nicki struggled with a black dress during the final portion of their three song opening. Forced to hold the dress together, Minaj went through with the performance rapping.
"My shoe fell off on stage one time. There are many moments. Many moments," Grande told Power 106, adding that the show has to go on. "One time I went on stage without my microphone. I forgot my microphone… I literally forgot it. I was projecting. I was screaming."
