Demetria McKinney, best known for her role as Janine on Tyler Perry's House of Payne, looks fabulous on the latest issue of Kontrol Magazine. In her sit down, Demetria, who also stars on TV ONE's The Rickey Smiley Show, puts the spotlight on her budding music career and her upcoming EP, Officially Yours, but also chats about the ending of her Tyler Perry sitcom and being a mother.
"'Officially Yours' is definitely getting back to R&B," she says about her upcoming EP, which is led by the single "100" featuring Da Brat. "Sexy, honest, real, and ME. LOL! Everyone knows the characters I’ve played, but getting to the heart and soul of me and my experiences was the inspiration behind this project."
