Philly husband-and-wife-duo Kindred The Family Soul (Fatin and Aja Dantzler) release a visual for the titled track from their new album A Couple Friends.
Featuring family photos and videos, the couple sing about the realness of any relationship; the hardships which make them stronger. Married for almost 20 years and having raised six children, Fatin and Aja should know a thing ot two about having a successful marriage and being a couple who are also friends and partners.
“Lord knows we’ve see our fair share, through it all you’ve always been there,” Fatin sings.
Iconic singer, pianist and songwriter Valerie Simpson joins the couple for a smooth piano solo at the end. Since Kindred is often compared to Ashford & Simpson, it is only fitting that Fatin and Aja join forces with Valerie Simpson for their uplifting album title track.
