R&B songstress K. Michelle will premiere her highly-anticipated “Rebellious Soul – The Musical” on Tuesday, August 19 at 10PM on VH1. Directed by Golden Globe Award-winning actor Idris Elba, the ‘hip hopera’ utilizes Michelle’s heartfelt ballads to help capture a fierce woman struggling to break the cycle of bad romance.
“Rebellious Soul – The Musical” features 8 songs from K. Michelle’s debut album, Rebellious Soul, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B/ Hip Hop Albums chart. The song list includes “Can’t Raise A Man,” “V.S.O.P.,” “Damn,” “Hate on Her,” “I Don’t Like Me,” “Ride Out,” “My Life,” and “When I Get A Man.”
