The King of Pop can’t be stopped! After taking the No. 3 spot on last week’s chart, “Loving You,” a track from his new posthumous album, Xscape, climbed to the top spot on Singersroom's Top 10 Streaming R&B Songs of The Week. The smooth and delicious record was written by MJ during the ‘Bad’ sessions in 1987, and revamped by Timbaland and Jerome Harmon.
Another legend and music trendsetter is making noise on this week’s chart. Dionne Warwick teams with hit singer-songwriter Ne-Yo for a remake of her 1964 ballad “A House Is Not A Home.” Recorded for a film of the same name, it’s great to see a veteran like Dionne partnering with a future legend like Ne-Yo, and it seems fans feel the same as the song debuts at No. 2 this week.
Mariah Carey rounds out the top three with her latest single “Thirsty,” featuring rapper Rich Homie Quan.
A spotlight for this week’s chart is newcomer Tink, who maintains the No. 7 spot with her Jeremih-assisted single “Don’t Tell Nobody.” While many veteran artists slipped off the chart, she continues to maintain steady streams.
