John Legend Lands First No.1 With ‘All Of Me’
John Legend has many a hits under his belt, but he didn't reach the top position on Billboards Hot 100 chart until this past week. The singer, songwriter's hit single "All Of Me" dethroned Pharrell’s "Happy," whic had a ten week run.
“#1!!!!!!!! Thank you!!” a happy Legend tweeted.
“All Of Me,” lifted from Legend’s August (2013) album, Love In The Future, spent six weeks at no. 2 before finally topping “Happy,” giving Legend his first no. 1 ever. His previous highest mark was no. 24 with both 2005′s “Ordinary People” and 2008′s “Green Light” featuring André 3000.
