Pharrell Williams and Ashanti will join Rick Ross in having top debuts on the R&B/Hip Hop charts next week.
Riding high on the hit single "Happy," Pharrell's new album, "G I R L," is projected to debut within the top five. Sales are projected to be between 85-95,000 copies.
Ashanti's awaited effort "Braveheart" will also debut on the charts next week. Featuring the single "I Got It" the album is projected to move 18-21,000 copies by week's end.
With those totals in mind, Rick Ross' new album, "Mastermind," has a strong chance at debuting at no.1 on the Billboard 200 and associated Hip-Hop charts. Led by singles including "Box Chevy" and "No Games," "Mastermind" is projected to arrive at number one with 145-160,000 copies sold.
Charts will be refreshed next Wednesday with official album sales figures.
