Trey Songz has been going hard musically as of late, and it’s all a part of his plan to drop an album this summer. With his recent efforts “Na Na” and “Ordinary” featuring Jeezy gaining attention, plus the plethora of remixes and features he’s on, it’s only right that he blesses fans with a new LP.
During a recent appearance at a “Get Schooled” event at New Era Academy in Baltimore, MD, Songz, who delivered personal and touching speeches about working hard in school, confirmed his forthcoming project to the excited teens.
"This is the first time I’m ever saying this anywhere in the world, this may be subject to change, but as of now the album is coming out June 30th," confirms Songz at about 5:45 in the below clip. "Ya’ll the first people I’ve ever told in the world."
Asked what the project’s name will be titled, he simply replied, “Trigga.”
As far as the set’s workings, he adds that he’s having fun with the project and he worked with a lot of great producers.
