Mariah Carey plays a lovelorn mythical creature in the video for her lovey ballad “You’re Mine (Eternal),” the latest single from her upcoming May 6th album.
Filmed in the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico, Carey plays both a mermaid and fairy as she gracefully submerges underwater and sits perched atop a tropical rock with glitter (plug!) wings on her back, pining for her absent love from a distance, played by an abs-baring Trey Songz (who’ll have a more active role in the remix version of the video to debut on 106 & Park on Friday, a.k.a Valentine's Day.)
