Actress and recording artist LeToya Luckett has learned a lot from management over the years including Destiny's Child manager Mathew Knowles.
According to the "Torn" singer, working with managers like Knowles has helped her in her new role as Felicia Price on "Single Ladies" (VH1).
"I've had a lot of great managers in my life and I was definitely able to take from them. And these are managers that can change…not only your career, but who you are as a person and help to mold you as an artist," Luckett told ABC in a recent interview. "So I was blessed to be able to have those experiences with them and I was able to grab from those experiences."
In related news, music from LeToya will debut on "Single Ladies" in February.
Titled "Don't Make Me Wait," the song is expected to premiere on the Feb. 10 episode of the hit series.
As previously reported, LeToya has been at work on her third studio album. A release date has not been announced at this point.
