Heel-less Heels and Huge Platforms
Made famous first by Lady Gaga in 2011-2012 when she stepped out in several kinds of towering Noritaka Tatehana boots, then every designer got the sculpted heel itch. Although these shoes were interesting and really showed a unique look, they’re all but played out now. Also the huge chunky wedges and platform pumps fall in line with these as well. Basically Jeffrey Campbell’s Litas are the prime example of why we should retire the huge heel in 2014. Shoes do make or break the outfit. Try going with a lower heel or wedge to give your feet (and your style) a rest and new look.
