Overly Spiked Clothing and Accessories
The studded and spiked trend was big in 2012-2013, and for those who still love the edgy punk rock look, still will probably have a place in their heart for these wild accents. But the look is now all but over done and overused. Hats and accessories made famous by the cast of Love and Hip-Hop (or anything on Vh1 honestly) should be put away. R. Kelly’s 2013 BET Awards ensemble also should be hung up for good measure. They were cute awhile back, but now you’ll just put someone’s eye out. Try for something a little more subtle this year if you want some edge and bling, like a gold chain choker necklace or a cuff. Rings and watches make good statement pieces too.
