Beyonce has officially outsold "4," her last studio album featuring songs like "Who Run The World (Girls)," "Love On Top" and "End of Time."
According to Billboard, her new self-titled set, "Beyonce," has officially sold 1.43 million copies in the U.S. alone, surpassing the current U.S. total for "4" of 1.39 million.
As widely reported, "Beyonce" opened with strong sales in December and has remained atop the Billboard 200 until this week, falling just shy of the top spot with 130,000 in sales this week (placing the album at no.2, just below Disney's "Frozen" soundtrack.)
"Beyonce's three previous studio albums, "I Am…Sasha Fierce" (released in 2008), "B'Day" (2006) and "Dangerously In Love" (2003), all hit No. 1, and have sold 3.12 million, 3.36 million and 4.91 million, respectively," reports Billboard.
"Beyonce" is led by the singles "Drunk In Love" and "XO."
