The wait for new music is just about over. Mariah Carey will be debuting the lead single off her new album, "The Art of Letting Go," in just a few weeks.
Carey broke the news via Facebook Monday, confirming that the social media platform will assist in the launch of the new single (and likely promotion for her album) November 11.
"I couldn't be more thrilled to announce that my brand new single "THE ART OF LETTING GO", will be released here exclusively on my Facebook page on 11.11.2013!! This song is so personal to me and I'm very excited to share this experience with you in such an intimate way," Carey wrote.
As previously reported, Mariah Carey had penned an open letter to fans last week, not only discussing her forthcoming album, but the injury that sidelined a lot of plans earlier this year. She also mentioned that this album is one of the most important of her career, which spans over twenty years at this point.
"I can't even know what to say"!!! We're less than a month away and I can't wait to answer all your questions and share this experience with you," Carey added, discussing the single. "Be sure to check back here every day for updates and all there is to know about "THE ART OF LETTING GO".
