As we continue to support Grassroots talents, R&B Spotlight pledges to celebrate the melodic sounds of your favorite national and local R&B talents. Additional, this month will feature special guest performances from R&B crooner Glenn Lewis and southern hummingbird Tweet.
“We hope that by inviting national acts, we’ll inspire up and coming artists to pursue their dreams,” event producer Cory Taylor shares with Singersroom.
Tweet released the 5-track EP, Simply Tweet, in February (2013), led by the single, "Enough," a record that talks "directly to the ladies, letting them know that it's okay to let go," and other sultry cuts including "Day Dreaming" and "Sorry." Meanwhile, Lewis is promoting his new single "Can't Say Love," the lead offering from his forthcoming album, Moment of Truth, his first LP in over a decade.
Over the years, Chart-topping superstars have headlined shows including Carl Thomas, R.L. of 90’s R&B group, Next; Meelah of 702, Kenny Lattimore, Musiq Soul Child, Marsha Ambrosius, Mario Winans, and Sisqo, lead singer of multi-platinum group Dru Hill.
