Cee Lo Green is back at work on NBC's hit reality singing competition, "The Voice."

Completing one of his first roles as a coach, Green returned to the Television Critics Association Press Tour Saturday, reuniting with Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera.

Looking forward to the new season, the Grammy winner briefly spoke about Usher filling in for him over the Spring and how it was watching the "U Got It Bad" singer sitting in his big red chair.

"It was awkward and intriguing at the same time. It was a bit of an out-of-body experience," Green shared Saturday.

As previously reported, "The Voice" is due to return for an all-new season in September. Usher will return, trading with Cee Lo, Spring 2014.

Are you a fan of The Voice? If so, you’re probably familiar with Cee Lo Green and his iconic red chair on the show. But did you know that he has some thoughts on Usher, who also served as a coach on the show?

In a recent interview, Cee Lo shared his admiration for Usher’s talents and work ethic. He praised Usher’s ability to connect with artists and help them grow in their careers.

As someone who has occupied the red chair himself, Cee Lo knows firsthand the challenges that come with being a coach on The Voice. Keep reading to learn more about what he had to say about Usher and his own experience on the show!

Cee Lo Green’s Thoughts on Usher as a Coach on The Voice

You gotta admit, Usher is killin’ it as a coach on The Voice, according to Cee Lo Green.

In an interview, Green shared his thoughts on Usher’s coaching style and how he has been able to connect with the contestants. He praised Usher for being a great listener and empathetic towards his team.

Green also mentioned that he appreciates how Usher focuses on the contestants’ strengths and helps them develop their own unique sound. He believes that this approach allows the contestants to showcase their individuality and stand out from the competition.

Additionally, Green noted that Usher’s experience as a performer gives him valuable insight into what it takes to succeed in the music industry.

Overall, Cee Lo Green has nothing but positive things to say about Usher’s role as a coach on The Voice. He admires his coaching style and believes that he brings a lot of value to the show. It’s clear that both coaches have a mutual respect for each other and are dedicated to helping their teams succeed.

Green’s Experience Occupying the Red Chair on The Voice

Feeling the pressure of the competition, it can be intimidating to sit in that iconic seat on The Voice. As someone who’s occupied that red chair, Cee Lo Green knows all too well how nerve-wracking it can be.

But despite the high stakes and intense scrutiny, he found the experience to be incredibly rewarding. For Green, sitting in the red chair was a chance to share his passion for music with a wider audience. He relished the opportunity to work with talented singers and help them develop their craft.

And while there were certainly moments of stress and tension, he always kept his eye on the prize: finding the next superstar. Looking back on his time as a coach on The Voice, Green is grateful for everything he learned during his tenure.

From mastering the art of constructive criticism to honing his own skills as a performer, he sees his time on the show as an invaluable chapter in his career. And even though he’s no longer occupying that famous red seat, he remains committed to helping aspiring artists achieve their dreams – both on and off-screen.

Conclusion

So, now that you’ve heard Cee Lo Green’s thoughts on Usher as a coach on The Voice and his own experience occupying the red chair, what do you think? Do you agree with Green’s praise for Usher’s coaching style and ability to connect with his team members?

Did you find it interesting to hear about Green’s own time on the show and how it impacted him as an artist?

Whether or not you’re a fan of The Voice or these particular coaches, there’s no denying the impact that the show has had on the music industry and on aspiring artists around the world. And hearing insights from those who have been a part of it, like Cee Lo Green, can be both fascinating and illuminating.
