Former Bad Boy Records quartet, 112's concert was phenomenal at B.B. King on Tuesday July 23rd. A 30-minute delay was worth it as fans waited in excitement! It was a special night for New York City since the guys reunited after seven years. When Q, Slim, Daron, and Mike stepped on stage, boy were they ready to party! Even though Daron suffered a minor injury, he had two titles that night: pianist and vocalist. Audience members were chanting their names one by one as each group member introduced themselves.

The guys performed some of their biggest hits from the mid-90's and early 2000's including "Anywhere," "Only You," "Cupid," "Playa," "Now That We're Done," "It's Over Now," "You Already Know," and "Dance With Me." Q, Slim, Mike, and Daron acknowledged their favorite R&B groups: Boyz II Men, Jodeci, and New Edition by covering some of their songs. It was important for them to patronize these artists because they said without them there wouldn't be 112. They sung, "On Bended Knee," "Feenin'" and "Can You Stand the Rain?" Last but not least, they showed respect to their friend and former label mate Christopher "Notorious B.I.G " Wallace by playing his classics: "Sky is the Limit," "Juicy," "One More Chance," "Mo' Money More Problems," "Only You (Remix)," and "Hypnotize."

112 ended their segment with their song, "Peaches-N-Cream," which is still a party anthem in the clubs. This song taught everyone how to do the "C-walk" in 2001. Fans wanted more from the group, but time was running out.

112 sung their hearts out and you couldn't get enough of their dance moves. In this case, presentation was the key because each member looked marvelous. 112's performance quenched their fans' thirst for the time being until they visit the city that never sleeps again.

The Grammy-award-winning R&B group introduced themselves to the industry 17 years ago when they released their self-titled album, 112. And fans couldn't get enough of them since. The ATL natives know New York City is their second home because Puffy gave them a chance to shine in the Big Apple. Slim said, "New York City raised us because you guys didn't shut the door on us and for that, we thank y'all. We love y'all from the bottom of our hearts."

Q made it clear to everyone in the audience that the group is not going anywhere. He said, "It's all about the fans." And the concert was a further confirmation!
