After touring with Keyshia Cole on her Woman To Woman trek, and currently riding on the debut of his first video “How Good Is Your Love,” Interscope artist Mateo announces a new EP called We’ve Met Before, set for arrival on digital platforms on August 13.
"I'm in a better place than I have ever been musically. With this EP, I want to show fans how I've evolved. They may have met me before, but I have so much more to give them," Mateo said. Working with Kerry “Krucial” Brothers and Zeke MacUmber, expect Mateo’s sound on the EP to go in the direction of an R&B/alternative hybrid, with the theme of love prevalent.
The Cincinnati-born singer will go back on the road this fall as he preps his debut Interscope LP for a 2014 release. Also in support of the EP, Mateo will drop a webisode every Wednesday. Check out the first below:
