At age 72, legend Ron Isley is not retiring anytime soon, as he recently dropped his album This Song Is For You, with the first single “Lay You Down” ft. Trey Songz. And while their collaboration takes one back to a special place in time, Isley recently took it back with a real back-tracker of a song: the Isley Brother’s 1969 classic “It’s Your Thing.”
Accompanied by The Roots to warm up the crowd before a taping of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” Isley showed how one properly hypes a crowd, solidifying the reason he's still in the game. Watch below:
