The BET Awards 13' were a success for BET Sunday night.

Featuring performances from Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, Tamela Mann and more, the show drew 7.6 million viewers and ranked as the no.1 award show on cable Sunday.

"For the second consecutive year, the live premiere of the BET AWARDS 13 on Sunday, June 30, is cable's #1 award show among adults 18-49, drawing 7.6 million total viewers and accounting for 51% of all social chatter across all of cable, dominating Twitter with nearly ten million tweets. With an average 4.7 million households tuning in, this blockbuster special is now the #2 BET telecast of all time, only behind the BET AWARDS 09 Michael Jackson tribute," BET reports.

In related news, the BET Awards 13' ranked no.1 on social media Sunday, up 76%, in terms of trending topics on Twitter.

"The BET AWARDS 13 ranked #1 on both SocialGuide and Trendrr.TV's charts measuring social media engagement for television," BET reports. "The BET AWARDS 13 had a 76% increase in trending topics on Twitter over 2012."

Encore airings of the BET Awards 13' are scheduled for Saturday, July 6 (8 pm – 11:30 pm) and Thursday, July 11 (7:30 pm – 11 pm).
