Award-winning R&B/soul singer and songwriter Musiq Soulchild has been tapped to star in the soon to be premiered Roger M. Bobb film "In The Meantime."
His first film role to date, "In The Meantime" is due to premiere on the UP Network (formerly GMC) August 17.
Written by Nzinga Kadalie Kemp, "In The Meantime" follows Jazmin "Jazz" Welles, a woman that is engaged to her long-time boyfriend and artist "Blac" (Musiq Soulchild). With their relationship hitting a slump just before they walk down the aisle, "Blac" convinces Jazmine to take six months off to discover herself and after that period of time, they both will decide if they really want to take the major step of getting married. During that six month block of time, Jazmine meets an attractive man, Kwame Davis, and they find themselves drawn into an unexpected friendship.
