The Weeknd is ready to issue his official debut album, following the repackage and release of his three mixtape project, Trilogy. The Canadian crooner announced Sunday (March 17) via Twitter that the forthcoming effort will be titled 'Kiss Land.' Keeping his incognito suave, the R&B crooner remained mum about upcoming singles or release dates.

The Weeknd’s major label release, Trilogy, which consists of three discs of previously released music from his three mixtapes, House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence, along with three new songs, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

The Weeknd is one of the most recognizable names in music today, and he’s just announced his official debut album title. Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from The Weeknd for some time now, since his last release was back in 2016. Now, they can finally rejoice as there’s a lot to look forward to!

The Weeknd has come a long way since the start of his career in 2010 when he released three mixtapes – House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence – which were later compiled into what’s known as Trilogy. His sound quickly gained traction with fans all over the world, leading him to become an international sensation. He dropped two studio albums following that – Beauty Behind the Madness (2015) and Starboy (2016) – both of which earned massive critical acclaim.

Now, after four years without releasing any new material publicly, The Weeknd has finally revealed his official debut album title: After Hours. This news comes shortly after he unveiled the lead single “Heartless” along with its accompanying video last month. It’s clear that we’re in for something special this year with more details about the album coming soon!

Album Details

The Weeknd has finally revealed the official title of his highly anticipated debut album. Titled “After Hours,” the album is set to be a reflection of The Weeknd’s journey over the past few years since his last full-length release, 2016’s Starboy.

In an Instagram post announcing the news, he shared that this new project would be “my most honest music to date.” He also teased fans with some intriguing artwork featuring a red suit and bright neon lights in anticipation for its March 20th release.

When asked about what inspired him on this record, The Weeknd stated: “I want people to feel like they can escape from their current situation and distract themselves from all the chaos happening around us nowadays.” With this new announcement, we’re sure that many are eagerly awaiting its arrival and hoping it’ll provide them with some solace during these difficult times.

Release Date

The Weeknd’s highly anticipated album, After Hours, is set to be released on March 20th. Fans have been eagerly awaiting its arrival, and now the wait is almost over. With this announcement comes a great deal of excitement from both The Weeknd’s fans as well as music lovers in general.

Those who are familiar with his work will certainly recognize some of the same themes present throughout his discography such as love, heartbreak, and darkness all weaved together with an impressive production style. For those looking for an escape amidst these chaotic times, there’s no doubt that After Hours will provide just that.

It looks like fans won’t need to wait much longer before they can experience The Weeknd’s most honest project yet – it’s right around the corner!

Conclusion

I’m excited for the Weeknd’s debut album, After Hours. It looks like it’ll be an amazing record! I can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us with this new material. The release date is March 20th and I’m sure his fans are counting down the days until then.

The lead single from the record, “Heartless,” was released on November 27th last year and gave listeners a glimpse of what we were going to get out of this project. Since then he has released five additional singles that have all been well-received by critics and fans alike. This shows how talented he is as an artist and that he knows how to create something special each time around.

Overall, the Weeknd is ready to make his official debut into mainstream music with After Hours and it looks like it’s going to be a great one! He’s already established himself as an incredible musician with multiple hit albums over the years so I’m sure this will only add to his legacy even more. We should expect nothing less than greatness from him when this album hits shelves come March 20th!
