Brian McKnight, "Sunday Best" winner Crystal Aikin and Angie Stone have been cast in the forthcoming stage play "Love Lies."
Produced by Hinton Battle ("Miss Saigon," "Dreamgirls"), "Love Lies" focuses on three women who arrive at a funeral, only to discover they were all engaged to the same dead man.
Brian McKnight is the lead actor in this project, starring as Harrison Brown, while Angie Stone ("R&B Divas") is the leading actress, starring as Victoria Davi.
"Love Lies" will kick off its national tour April 1-7 at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. and will continue on to Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore, Birmingham, AL and more later this year.
Elise Neal, Kier Spates and Amber A. Harris will also star in the production.
