Do you remember Cherish? They had the smash hits "Do It To It" featuring Sean P of the Young Bloodz, "Unappreciated", and "Killa" featuring Yung Joc, all under the tutelage of hit producers Jermaine Dupri and Jazze Pha before twin sisters Fallon and Felisha broke from the nest to record their own project. Well, the all sisters group has reunited insisting, "we're back," and they promise to deliver new music within the upcoming weeks.
"We know you've been waiting, and we promise new music, so wait no more," the group states in the below promo video. "March 1st we will be releasing our new single called 'Get That Boy'."
It will be great to see Cherish return, especially in a time when R&B groups are very scarce.
It’s been almost twenty years since the female R&B group Cherish first debuted, and now they’re finally making their return. After a long hiatus, fans of this iconic girl-group can rejoice – new music from Cherish is coming on March 1st! It’s sure to be an exciting time as we welcome back these amazing artists with open arms.
For anyone who doesn’t know about Cherish, they began in 2002 when sisters Farrah King (formerly King) and Neosha King joined forces with longtime friends Felisha King and Asia Cottom to form one of R&B’s most beloved acts. They quickly gained attention for their unique sound that seamlessly blended hip hop beats with smooth melodies and intricate harmonies. Their debut album “Unappreciated” spawned several hits like “Do It To It” featuring Sean Paul of The Youngbloodz which peaked at number 14 on Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Now after taking some time away from recording music, the ladies are ready to make their comeback. With their upcoming single set for release on March 1st, it looks like fans won’t have to wait much longer to get a taste of what they have in store next. We’ll just have to stay tuned until then!
Background Of Cherish
Cherish is an American R&B group that originated in Atlanta, Georgia. The original lineup consisted of Farrah King (also known as “Fuego”), Felisha Terrell, and twin sisters Fallon and Neosha King. The four members hit the music scene with their debut single “Do It to It” in 2006 which rose to number eight on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart making them one of the few female groups at the time to have a top 10 hit on the chart. Since then, Cherish has consistently produced hits for over a decade with songs like “Killa” and “Amnesia”.
The group went through some changes after releasing two studio albums in 2007 and 2009 respectively before taking a hiatus from 2011-2016. During this period, the members pursued solo projects before announcing they were reforming as a trio — without Neosha—in 2017. Now back together as three, Farrah, Felisha, and Fallon are ready to take over the airwaves once again with their upcoming project slated for release March 1st.
Offering insight into what fans can expect from the album, Cherish recently dropped two singles entitled “Unappreciated” and “One Time”. Both tracks showcase each member’s individual talents while still maintaining genuine vocal harmonies reminiscent of their earlier work. With all this new music coming out soon it looks like 2021 will be another big year for these ladies!
Release Of Upcoming Music
Cherish is gearing up for the big release of their upcoming project on March 1st. It’s been an exciting journey for fans everywhere, eagerly awaiting this new music from one of their favorite groups. The anticipation has only heightened with the two singles they recently dropped to give us a taste of what we can expect from the album.
The first single “Unappreciated” reflects upon moments in relationships where it felt like love was not reciprocated and echoes Cherish’s classic sound with its beautiful harmonies and catchy beat. The second song, “One Time”, takes a more upbeat approach as it explores themes such as independence and self-love — something that many listeners will find relatable. Both tracks offer a unique glimpse into how much growth the group has gone through since their hiatus in 2011.
It is clear that Cherish have put all of their energy into making sure these songs are perfect for their long-time supporters who have stuck by them throughout all these years. With the official release coming soon, there is no doubt that this album will be another hit!

I’m so excited that Cherish is returning with new music! The R&B group has been around since 2005 and I’ve always loved their sound. They have a unique blend of smooth harmonies and catchy beats, which makes them stand out from the rest. Now they’re coming back with some fresh tunes, and it’s going to be an amazing experience.
