Kelly Rowland is going to the Academy Awards. The "Motivation" and "Ice" singer made the announcement not too long ago, adding her name to a list of four that will come together as hosts on the red carpet for Hollywood's biggest night.

Rowland joins Emmy award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth, Entertainment Weekly Managing Editor Jess Cagle and "Good Morning America" Anchor Lara Spencer. All four are expected to interview guests, talk red carpet fashion and more leading up to the Academy Awards.

Fresh off the Grammy Awards and Super Bowl, Kelly is preparing to release a new album titled "Talk A Good Game."

"The Oscars Red Carpet Live" airs Sunday, February 24 at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Kelly Rowland is about to take the red carpet by storm! The Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter has been tapped to co-host E!’s Red Carpet Pre-Show for this year’s Academy Awards. This isn’t Kelly’s first time making an appearance at the Oscars, but it will be her biggest one yet. She’ll get to rub elbows with A-list celebrities, as well as provide commentary on who’s wearing what during Hollywood’s most glamorous night of the year. Keep reading to find out more about how Kelly snagged a date with Oscar and what fans can expect from her upcoming hosting gig.

It’s no secret that Kelly Rowland knows how to rock any stage she steps foot on – whether it be a concert or an awards show. After all, she was part of Destiny’s Child, which was named “the best selling girl group of all time” by Guinness World Records in 2009. So when news broke last week that Kelly would be joining Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet for the 2020 Academy Awards ceremony, naturally everyone got really excited.

This won’t be just another run-of-the-mill awards show either; it marks a huge milestone in Kelly Rowland’s career: Her first major television role since appearing on Fox’s “The X Factor” U.K back in 2011! With such an illustrious background under her belt, there’s little doubt that she’ll bring plenty of star power to this year’s event—and we can hardly wait to see what she brings to the table come February 9th!

Overview Of The Event

Kelly Rowland, the Grammy-winning singer and songwriter, is set to co-host a special red carpet pre-show for this year’s Oscars. The event will be broadcast live on ABC as part of its coverage on Sunday, April 25th. This will mark Kelly’s first time hosting an awards show in her career and she couldn’t be more excited.

Rowland has been known throughout her career for pushing boundaries and showcasing new styles that have helped shape today’s pop music landscape. She brings that same energy to the Oscar stage as she looks forward to interviewing celebrities from all aspects of the entertainment industry during the evening’s festivities. It promises to be a night full of glitz and glamour with many memorable moments sure to happen along the way.

The anticipation is building not only for those who are attending but also for viewers tuning in at home around the world. With Kelly Rowland bringing her unique style and fresh perspective to such a prestigious event, it’s sure to make this one of the most talked about Oscars yet!

Kelly Rowland’s Role

Kelly is more than ready to take on the challenge of hosting a major awards show, and her enthusiasm for the event is infectious. She will be joining ABC’s pre-show coverage team which includes Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, Lara Spencer and Jesse Palmer. In addition to co-hosting duties Kelly will also have the chance to interview nominees as they arrive on the red carpet. It’s sure to be an exciting night full of surprises!

The experience of interviewing some of Hollywood’s brightest stars in a setting such as this one requires skill and poise – both qualities that Rowland has honed over years of performing and interacting with fans. Her confident stage presence combined with her warm personality allows her to easily connect with celebrities while asking them questions about their work or fashion choices. This ability helps create an enjoyable atmosphere that keeps viewers engaged throughout the evening.

On April 25th, Kelly Rowland promises to bring something special to the Oscar’s red carpet alongside her fellow hosts. The anticipation is mounting for what she will bring to the table as millions tune in from all around the world. From interviews with nominees to predictions about who might win big –it’s sure to be a memorable night!

Conclusion

I’m so excited that Kelly Rowland is co-hosting the red carpet pre-show for the Oscars! She’s a talented singer, actress, and businesswoman who always brings her A game to whatever she does. Her chemistry with Oscar host Chris Rock will be electrifying and I can’t wait to see what they come up with when they hit the stage.

Rowland has already been making waves in Hollywood this year, starring alongside Taraji P. Henson in Empire and appearing on the Netflix original series The Get Down. This new role is just another example of how far she’s come since bursting onto the music scene as a member of Destiny’s Child back in 1997. It’ll definitely be fun watching her take center stage at one of film’s biggest nights of the year.

This event will certainly be an opportunity for Rowland to show off her talents even more than usual – let’s hope we get some amazing surprises from her during the pre-show broadcast! There are few people who could bring such energy and enthusiasm to an occasion like this, but I have no doubt that Kelly can pull it off. Here’s to hoping that she’ll make us all proud on February 28th!
